​Here at St Andrew’s Academy we serve the community of Paisley. Our Catholic values underpin all that we do and our school motto is the simple message of “Work Hard, Be Kind”.
 
We have proudly been promoting this message for 10 years. This message is one our young people will hear repeated, from their first visit day to St Andrew’s Academy when they are in P7, all the way through to the wonderful celebration of S6 Prom. We hope that this message encourages diligence and kindness, qualities that will shape our young peoples lives now and in the future.
 
Our “Work Hard, Be Kind” philosophy has served as a vehicle for strategic change in the areas of Health & Wellbeing, Pupil Support, Attainment and Achievement. The 6 strands of our motto form the basis for many of our school policies and are the foundation of our Pupil Parliament working groups and discussions.
