S2 Learning to Learn 

​S2 pupils took part in Learning to Learn on Wednesday 20th September. During this time, they participated in 2 sessions: Mental Health & Wellbeing and Problem Solving. 

Session 1 - Mental Health & Wellbeing 
During session 1 students were encouraged to think about their own MH&W and discussed strategies for keeping a healthy mindset. Pupils were also encouraged to think about ways in which they can improve their mindset and came up with lots of interesting ideas.

Session 2 - Problem Solving 
Pupils were challenged to come up with a way of protecting an egg when it was dropped off of the social space bridge. All pupils were enthusiastic about this challenge and most eggs survived the drop. We were all very impressed with the efforts from these students.

S3 Learning to Learn

S3 pupils took part in Learning to Learn on Wednesday 4th October. They participated in 2 sessions: Growth Mindset and Time Management. 

At these sessions pupils were encouraged to develop their mindset and to think about why their mindset matters and what they can do to expand their mindset. This then led into their session on time management which looked at students prioritising their time and thinking about how students can best prepare themselves for assessment and exams.
Pupils provided the Attainment Team with feedback on what the enjoyed the most.
