I have been involved in Active Schools since the age of 17 starting out as a volunteer delivering sessions through my Gleniffer High School Sports Leader class. I then attended UWS completing an Honors Degree Sports Development.
I progressed into the role of a Sports Development Officer in West Lothian before moving back to Renfrewshire as the Competitions Officer and then becoming the Active Schools Coordinator for St Andrew's Academy cluster 6 years ago now. I love my job because it is different everyday and using sport to inspire people.
In my role as an Active Schools Coordinator I work with the high school and some of the cluster primaries which are St Pauls, St Fergus & St Peters. I aim to provide a variety sporting opportunities for pupils which include;

• Sporting opportunities
• Leadership & Coaching
• Young Ambassadors
• Paisley West Community Sports Hub
• Club Sport Pathways.
