Assessment

The Higher Business Management course builds upon the skills and knowledge gained from National 5.
The course is made up of three core units:

• Understanding Business (Higher)
  
• Management of Marketing & Operations (Higher)
  
• Management of People & Finance (Higher)
  

Higher
Component 1
Learners are required to complete an assignment in the form of a business report. This contributes to 25% of candidates' overall mark.

Component 2
Learners are also required to sit a final written exam based on course content. This exam is worth 75% of candidates' overall mark.

Useful Apps 

My study planner is an app provided by the SQA that will help you plan out your studying for your upcoming exams, it will:
-Create a study schedule
-Choose how long you want to study certain subjects for 
-Prioritise different subjects 
- Tell you your progress ​

Books

Along with notes that will be given throughout the year, there are textbooks available to help you study. If you prefer to study from a book you may wish to purchase one of these. However, it is not a necessity and there will be some copies available for use in school.
